People create houses, and houses also create people.

“A home is not a place for socializing or constraint. It is where one feels most relaxed, where one lets down their guard, and where love is given and received. A home holds one's own stories and is a release of personality and temperament.”

——Li Bo

This private residence, located in OCT, Shenzhen, with an indoor area of 800 square meters, is a project completed by designer Li Bo. With the theme of 'home', he interprets the space, presenting a poetic layer of understanding and loving life through modern techniques and an attitude that emphasizes experience.

 Family living room

"This is a place where the whole family reunites after a busy day. We hope to awaken, ignite and enliven this space, filling it with warmth and love!"

The designer chose Marsden's high-end custom-made products to be placed above the family living room. The entire custom-made lamp is about 2 meters high, consisting of five circles of different sizes. Against the background of the ceiling with large glass-steel mirrored shapes, it not only highlights the depth of the space, but also reflects the life expectation of "perfection and completeness".

  Reception room

The layout of the reception room is stable yet interesting. The walls are fully covered with light-colored bookcases, which not only showcase the owner's life journey and hobbies but also shorten the distance between people, bringing a more stable state of mind.

The designer has arranged two modern lamps with distinct styles but complementary colors around the seats in the reception room, breaking the sense of cramped space and creating a warm and free communication atmosphere.

 Collection display room

In the study and collection display room, the designer creatively divides the wall into two parts, designing stacked boxes of various sizes with 4 lamps of the same style interspersed in between. The half-wood and half-cloth hidden structure creates a delightful stage effect when the lights are turned on.

At this moment, the specially customized lamps blend seamlessly with the surrounding environment, undertaking more of a decorative function. Like a stroke of genius, they leave a deep impression.

  Daughter's room

The daughter's room is a boudoir completely different from the public spaces. The ceiling, floor and walls made entirely of wood render the whole space pure and unadorned.

The perfect combination of the log floor lamp and the wall is like a fairy-tale dream, both real and illusory. The dim yellow light emanating from the top and bottom of the log lampshade warms the sweetest dreams of this happy girl.

  Western-style kitchen

At the end of the archway on the first floor lies a fully functional Western-style kitchen space. The island with a solid wood countertop and the modern molecular lamps are neither ostentatious nor dull.

The love of the family and the aroma of delicious dishes flow freely, making people reluctant to leave.

  Staircase passageway

In the staircase passageway, a simple and clear white table lamp neutralizes the complex and brilliant mosaic patterns, like a touch of cool autumn amidst a sea of flowers, both real and dreamlike.

Art and life, tradition and modernity, are inherently indivisible. Integrating art into life and perceiving modernity through tradition, the intense mix contains the eternal pursuit of happiness that transcends ancient and modern times, as well as the East and the West.

Creation, or brewing future creations, is a necessity. And happiness can only exist when this necessity is satisfied.

This is true for Marsden, as well as for you who love life.
